聖樂賞析
“基督徒與聖樂”的關係是依照聖經的教導：歌羅西書3:16「當用各樣的智慧，把基督的道理豐豐富富地存在心裡，用詩章、頌詞、靈歌，彼此教導，互相勸戒，心被恩感，歌頌 神」
建構聖樂的功用是教導、勸戒、感恩，並將榮耀頌讚歸給 神!
因我們的 主耶穌基督是承受萬有的，也創造了諸世界；祂是上帝榮耀所發的光輝，是上帝本體的真像；常用祂權能的命令托住萬有；祂洗淨了人的罪，就坐在高天至大者的右邊（希伯來書1:1-3）。

然而傳道書作者在"凡事都有定期，天下萬務都有定時"之下，進一步指出: "...上帝造萬物，各按其時成為美好，又將永生（原文是永遠）安置在世人心裡。然而 上帝從始至終的作為，人不能參透。我知道世人，莫強如終身喜樂行善；並且人人吃喝，在他一切勞碌中享福，這也是 上帝的恩賜。我知道 上帝一切所做的都必永存；無所增添，無所減少。上帝這樣行，是要人在 祂面前存敬畏的心" (傳道書3:11-14)
世人觀看這世界的四季輪替，並以為春耕秋收、日出而作、日落而息的世界或許會生生不息地持續運轉。但是新約聖經希伯來書卻提醒我們這是一個暫時的世界，因為: "...天地都要像衣服漸漸舊了；祢要將天地捲起來，像一件外衣，天地就都改變了。惟有祢永不改變；祢的年數沒有窮盡" (希伯來書1:11b-12)。詩篇又說: “…你使人歸於塵土，說：你們世人要歸回” (詩90:3)。因此這首Look at the World的作者John Rutter特地在第三段歌詞的四季更替之後，接續這一句”…Everything grows, everything has a season, till it is gathered to the Father's fold”(萬有生機，天父皆已定期，到那天收取歸到祂懷中)。
